As many of you know, I've been working on an online magical school for a while. It is now officially live here: https://the-hermitage.mn.co

There is no endpoint, no correct sequence, no single tradition that covers the terrain. The Hermitage offers courses and guidance rather than a curriculum. You decide where to begin, and exploration takes care of the rest.

The tradition is older than any single school, and bigger than any single teacher. The Hermitage offers multiple courses across the Western magical tradition and leaves the path entirely up to you.

James is the host of Hermitix (as you all, on Patreon, know), one of the longest-running podcasts at the intersection of philosophy and esoteric thought. He has a background in Fine Art and Continental Philosophy, a working magical practice, and more than a decade of serious engagement with the Western spiritual/magical tradition. He lives in Norfolk.
The Hermitage is his school.

The long-short is that it's intended to be a place where one can construct their own magical practice and feel comfortable talking openly about any and all strangeness that happens in their magical lives. With an emphasis on the fact that magic is never 'complete', there's no end, and no separate spiritual life that one just 'does for an hour on Sunday'. It's really meant to help people imbue their lives with mystery and magic; that's the aim, at least. Launching with 12 courses and over 180 talks.
